From the first Little League game I played in, I knew that I wanted to excel in baseball. This
dream doesn't just happen on its own; it takes support from family, friends and most importantly
skilled professionals with knowledge of the game. I tried other training facilities but found that
Pro Prospects was more personalized and suited to my individual needs. I felt like Steve Pinto and
his staff were truly dedicated to making me the best player I could be.
Through six years of training, Steve taught me the importance of location, change of speed,
and developing different pitches - always starting with the fastball. He wouldn't teach me a curve
until my 16th birthday, to protect my arm and to make sure I first had a good fastball and change up
in my arsenal. Also, Steve taught me a lot about the mental part of the game.
While I got bigger and stronger, I always continued to work on mechanics with Steve, which
steadily increased my velocity over the years. He also taught me how disciplined you need to be in
training and that good things come with dedication and hard work.
I truly believe that Pro Prospects was a big part of my success this year.
As I move on to the next level - D1 baseball at Long Island University, I know Steve and his
staff will always be there for help and support.

Working out at Pro Prospects this past off-season has greatly improved my all-around game. My velocity improved from 68 to 81 miles per hour and I’ve also developed a curveball and change up. Also I’m making better contact at the plate and my power has improved. This wouldn’t have been possible without my off-season training.

I’ve been at Pro Prospects for four years and each year I’ve improved. They make you set goals
and help you achieve them. Last season, I made The Times Herald Record All-Star team and won my
team’s hitting award. If it wasn’t for Pro Prospects, I wouldn’t be in the position I’m in today.

Pro Prospects has taught me the value of hard work. The drills have helped me relax at the
plate and have improved my power. Defensively, my throws to second are quicker and my infield skills
have improved as well.

My
lessons have made a huge impact on my swing. This summer
at Nationals, I had the second-highest batting average (over. 400) on my team. The previous summer, I was always pinch-hit
for. This past school season, I won my team’s MVP award. Thanks to Pro Prospects, my whole
game has turned around.

Since I started coming to Pro Prospects Training Center as a high school senior, my fastball has improved from 65 to 88 miles per hour, I’ve developed two off-speed pitches and my control has greatly improved.

As a result of my training at Pro Prospects, my knowledge of the game and performance has greatly improved. In the last year, my batting average improved more than 100 points and I went from limited pitching duty to a 6-1 record. This is a reflection of the hard work my trainers and I put forth to improve my mechanics and mental approach.

My four years of training at Pro Prospects has helped a lot. Last year, I batted .460 with 4 home runs and 30 RBI and went 7-0 with a 2.60 ERA. I’ve improved my overall game and my confidence has improved too.

I’m surprised at how much my training has helped me. I really feel comfortable in the batter’s box. I know my mechanics and now know I can only improve. I hit .556 this summer and I owe a majority of that to Pro Prospects.

I believe that my mentoring and strength training have contributed to my success. Pro Prospects taught me the correct way to work out and Mr. Pinto has spent a long time helping me correct my mechanics. Pro Prospects has helped me increase my velocity and I've become a better baseball player.
