"Your arm should be an ASSET not a LIABILITY"
Finally, an indoor throwing and conditioning program designed to help ballplayers in cold weather
climates. A systematic throwing routine can provide the arm with maximum health, strength,
endurance, accuracy and recovery period. Benefits include: arm strength, acceleration, muscle
elongation, reduction in injuries, a develooed sense of mechanical rhythm and balance and an
established foundation that can be "drawn upon" throughout the season.
Programs include 15-20 minutes of long-tossing in our new 20-foot tall batting/throwing tunnel
(simulates over 250 feet of throwing with proper effort), a series of shoulder, core, lower body,
cardiovascular and stretching exercises.
Program runs from December
through February. Space is limited so call early to
register.
2008
UPDATE:
During
the 2007-2008 Long Toss program 44 players gained an
average of 4 miles per hour over a 12-week
period.
The long tossing program at Pro
Prospects is nothing short of amazing. In just a few
month I increased my velocity from around 78 to 84 mph
and my arm strength and stamina also dramatically
improved.
I am now
able to pitch deeper into games, pitch in more games and
also play outfield without arm pain or fatigue. I was
unable to do these things before my long-tossing
routine. Long tossing helped me to have my best year on
the mound. The program is exceptional and I would
recommend it to any ballplayer, especially pitchers,
that would like to improve velocity, strength, stamina
or rehab tired or hurt arms.
